Acknowledgements

Expressions of gratitude to everyone who supported, helped, and enabled our work throughout 4 years at the High Council of Justice.

To the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Everyone Helping to Defend Ukraine

I express my highest respect and boundless gratitude to the Armed Forces of Ukraine and everyone who contributes to defending Ukraine against Russian aggression.

Thanks to you, we can live, develop, and strengthen our Homeland. Serving the law, protecting justice, and establishing integrity in the judicial system is not merely a duty, but a sacred responsibility to everyone fighting for a free, lawful, and unbreakable Ukraine. Your trust is the highest value, the main guide, and a source of inspiration in this daily struggle for the authority of justice.

To my Wife and Son

For enduring my absence at home and allowing me to "live" at work throughout these intense 4 years of service.

To Colleagues

In a collegiate body, every decision is a balance of perspectives, a shared outcome, and collective responsibility. Thank you that the vast majority of decisions were forged through healthy consensus, and thank you for supporting my individual initiatives. You taught me to listen and understand each other more deeply, and to respect everyone’s position. And, of course, I am grateful for the sharp focus and energy in which we constantly kept one another 😊

To the Assistants

For allowing me to be their representative in official meetings. It is the assistants who are the first to identify facts of violations in complaints, seek to clarify and resolve all doubts regarding judicial candidates, and carry out the core workload of a member of the High Council of Justice.

Special thanks to Ihor Bilyk, who was far more than an assistant to me. He was a source of support and advice, generated ideas and contributed to implementing many important and useful initiatives. Ihor was and remains one of the key figures in the digitalisation of the HCJ. Above all, he is a person of high personal and professional qualities, who sincerely seeks to make the judicial system better and knows how to do it.

Separately, I thank Ihor for using his own vacation time to teach me how to build this website with the help of AI.

To the HCJ Secretariat

To the Secretariat of the High Council of Justice and personally to secretaries Anastasiia Yevdokymova, Tetiana Arkhypovych, and Svitlana Babii — for ensuring that all meetings proceeded seamlessly and professionally. Throughout all 4 years, I was able to dedicate myself directly to executing the core functions of an HCJ member, while all operational support processes ran smoothly in the background — driven by the relentless daily efforts of a large and coordinated team.

To Disciplinary Inspectors

For injecting genuine drive, principle, and energy into the disciplinary proceedings framework. The disciplinary inspectors brought a powerful new momentum to the complaint review process, demonstrating unwavering professionalism and an uncompromising stance whenever the authority of justice, judicial integrity, and public trust were on the line. Thanks to their principled commitment, the disciplinary oversight process has become transparent, effective, and truly uncompromising.

To All Integrity Institutions

To all donors, organizations, and institutions that have supported and continue to support the High Council of Justice, the judicial system, and Ukraine as a whole on its long and often arduous path toward strengthening the authority of justice.

To the Enemies of Justice and Haters

A special thanks to those who resisted, launched opposition, and spared no critical attacks. Thank you for making me only stronger, forging my resolve, and never allowing me for a single moment to doubt what I am doing this for.
