Born in 1979 in Lviv. A lawyer and advocate by training. I have worked in the legal profession for more than twenty-five years, and since 2014 I have devoted a substantial part of my professional and civic work to the establishment of anti-corruption bodies, judicial reform, and the integrity and accountability of judges.
I began practising law in 2001. For over 12 years I worked in the legal department of a bank, including over 8 years in executive roles. During the Revolution of Dignity I defended activists of Maidan and Automaidan, and after it ended I worked on cases concerning the judges who had ordered the prosecution of protest participants.
I was a member and then chairman of the Civil Oversight Council of NABU, took part in the Bureau’s disciplinary commission and in public oversight of its work. As a member of the Public Integrity Council I contributed to vetting candidates for the Supreme Court and to the qualification assessment of sitting judges. I worked with the NGO Automaidan and the DEJURE Foundation on judicial reform.
In August 2022 the Verkhovna Rada elected me a member of the High Council of Justice. At the HCJ I handled disciplinary cases concerning judges, matters of judicial careers and judicial independence, digitalisation, and improving the work of the judiciary. I served as secretary of the Second Disciplinary Chamber of the HCJ and as chair of the Standing Committee on UJICS.
My powers as a member of the High Council of Justice ended on 14 August 2026.
